Report summary
In the evaluation process of the sample of study programs of the institution, we evaluated
the study programs Business Informatics (higher education study program) and
Management and Informatics (master study program). The study programs were evaluated
according to the five standards of Article 23 of the Criteria. For four standards, we identified
advantages, such as the fact that within the self-evaluation of study programs, the
institution conducts two-year interviews with a focus group of students and graduates; the
implementation of the study program is fully adapted to the needs of the part-time student
population; student-centered education, both in terms of the way the pedagogical process
is carried out and in terms of support services for students, is assessed as very positive;
the possibility of obtaining certificates for students and additional courses; a well-designed
interactive online classroom, which in addition to study materials also contains news about
the activities of the Student Council and a forum through which up-to-date communication
between school, teachers and students and a workshop on writing and using learning
outcomes for higher education teachers. For all five standards, we identified opportunities
for improvement, which are described in the report. For standards 1, we identified one
partial shortcoming or inconsistency related to the verification and evaluation of student
workloads: immediately after the evaluation visit, the institution addressed this issue
regarding the undefined methodology for verifying study workloads in the Institution's
Quality Rules and regarding the missing workload analysis in the self-evaluation report -
after the visit the institution also changed the Rules of Procedure and the questionnaire
and additionally explained that the changed procedure and questionnaire will be used in
the next academic year (2022/2023).
