Report summary
The institute has established a system for monitoring the quality of the implementation
and updating of the study program. The involvement of all key stakeholders in the quality
monitoring system was established (collection and analysis of information and
communication of findings and measures). Well-structured and meaningful and useful selfevaluation reports are available at the institute’s website. Efforts to continuously improve
quality are also visible through the involvement of international experts in the process of
updating the study program. The possibility of continuously capturing student opinions /
proposals via an online form, mailbox or book of praise and complaints was proposed, as
well as establishing a system for documenting proposals for updating the study program
from informal sources and including them in the self-evaluation report. In addition to
professional staff, students could also be involved in organized forms of awareness-raising
(eg Quality Day) to develop an awareness of the importance of the quality of studies. The
involvement of all representatives of the educational process in the adoption of measures
to improve quality and their implementation was recognized, as well as the development
of innovative approaches in the adoption of measures to improve the implementation of
the study program. The Institute has a good system for monitoring and communicating
measures for the development and improvement of the study program, as well as good
connections between the Institute and the international environment enable the Institute
to exchange current information that affects the content of the study program. A proposal
was made to regulate the records in the curricula. The comprehensive and efficient system
of organizing practical student education is commendable; rapid response of professional
services and management of the institution to changing conditions during the epidemic;
publishing activity of the institute from the point of view of providing appropriate study
17
materials; financial rewarding of clinical mentors or coordinators in the clinical
environment; coordinated operation and cooperation between the institute and learning
bases in providing / organizing clinical training; and the accessibility of higher education
teachers and associates to students. However, the forms of assessment and testing of
knowledge must be clearly defined in the curricula and implemented accordingly; it is
necessary to encourage an increase in the number of teacher tutors at the institution;
update study literature in curricula. For the study program, good material conditions are
available for the implementation of the study process; appropriate information is provided
to the interested public. A change (which may be of an occasional nature) is proposed in
the conduct of annual interviews from the direction of top management to the operational
level. In the self-evaluation report, it is also necessary to address the relationships - the
course of annual interviews, career development - with employees in professional services.
The institution's response showed proactive action and readiness to implement the given
opportunities.
