SUMMARY
Both programs are truly excellent programs of study. Their content and structure are
attractive and demonstrate innovative, thoughtful and progressive thinking. With these
study programs, the faculty can compete internationally. The expert group can commend
the faculty for the idea of offering two different programs, one practice-oriented and the
other more theory-oriented. The programs are clearly different from each other and both
train workers with holistic knowledge.
The academic and research staff is open to constant adaptation of the study program to
the modern trends in tourism with a clear commitment to the sociological aspect of tourism.
They carry out activities whose results are regularly reviewed. External employers are
involved in updating the programs through the Strategic Council. Methods and procedures
have been established for collecting data or proposing changes to the study program and
its analyzes, and for informing stakeholders. The Faculty of Toursim also attends to quality
through multiple and regular annual staff meetings where it presents the results of selfevaluations to all relevant stakeholders. They also focused on more active participation in
national and international projects, networking and supporting early career researchers.
In updating the study programs, they have taken into account the results on employability,
which shows that they cooperate with external stakeholders (monitoring the activities of
graduates).
The faculty has a small number of full time teaching staff. There are a large number of
external contractors who contribute significantly to the two courses assessed.
Nevertheless, the lack of full-time staff is noticeable in the heavy workload of staff with
various extracurricular commitments. Students also note that some faculty teach several
different subjects simultaneously, which they view as less positive.
The higher education institution rents premises to carry out its activities. The premises are
not fully adapted and accessible to the needs of persons with disabilities. The faculty
management is aware of this and ensures that if a student with such special needs enrolls,
the schedule is adjusted so that all lecture halls are accessible. The college is planning to
construct its own building where they will have to pay more attention to the accessibility
of the rooms for people with special needs. They are also planning to have their own
specialized library in the new premises, which would be a great contribution.

The Institute informs the public in a number of ways: with a website that is transparent,
visually appealing and has a highly visible news section. The tabs are sensibly arranged,
self-assessment reports are not difficult to find and the faculty also informs the public
about what assessments are, thus broadening and deepening the quality culture.
