Report summary
The faculty has many years of experience in delivering this course and is constantly
updating the course content and teaching methods. This is also recognized by external
stakeholders, especially companies in this region and graduate students. The course is
academically oriented and includes no less than 12 areas of study, in which students can
choose electives from any of the other areas of study. Student workload is monitored
through self-evaluation reports and is reasonable. Recently, the Program Council was
appointed in the Faculty Senate, which will continue the work of the Strategic Council and,
in our opinion, will further improve the development of the study program. The program's
earned accreditations - SQAA, ECBE, ACBSP, AACSB - and their re-accreditation
demonstrate that the faculty and graduate assistants in the units of study have appropriate
pedagogical and scholarly credentials. The director of the study program regularly monitors
the performance of the students in the examinations. In order to improve the quality of
the study program, he involves a wide range of stakeholders in his activities. They pay
attention to the syllabi, quality of subjects, accessibility of literature and various platforms.
It provides many opportunities for students to interact and collaborate informally with
students from other disciplines. While this may seem rather obvious, the expert group
highlights the potential value of such interdisciplinarity and multidisciplinarity for students
and professors. The expert group believes that allowing students from different disciplines
to communicate with each other (in) a formal way is a great advantage. This gives students
more than one perspective on the same subject and allows them to discover other
interests.
Research in the Faculty is generally of a good standard, with some outstanding academics
leading the way.

The Faculty of Economics, based on a decision of the Academic Affairs Committee, allows
for the adaptation of the course of study for students with special needs. Students are
allowed certain adjustments in both learning and writing exams. The adjustments are
agreed upon on an individual level between the student and the instructor, which the higher
education institution could make more systematic so that the student is not repeatedly
presented and has to negotiate. Although the HEI allows students with special needs to
study, it needs to strengthen the culture of awareness and acceptance of special needs
among students and staff in the spirit of inclusion.
Students can participate in many projects as well as academic and research activities. The
projects in which students are involved (PKP, Å IPK) are meaningfully related to the study
program and thus add value to the studies. The lecturers work closely with the environment
and often involve people from the field in the delivery of their courses, who present their
work to the students. Students rated this as very positive and encouraging.
The material conditions are adequate. The college provides a minimum of five copies of
the compulsory study literature. Many learning materials are digitized and accessible online
(Microsoft Teams).
The college in a good manner informs prospective students about the study programme
through its website and social media. The program is also presented at information days.
The alumni club has a long tradition and conducts many activities. The website is
transparent.
